Christine Seymour – Investing in the Future

AIChE Past President and Fellow, Christine Seymour, has made a tremendous personal commitment to the future of the profession by gifting one year of AIChE Young Professional membership for all Lehigh University BS Chemical Engineering graduates starting with the class of 2019.

Gifts to the AIChE Foundation such as this make a significant and lasting impact by helping the youngest members of the chemical engineering community jumpstart their entrance to the profession through AIChE.



In 2017, Sangtae “Sang” Kim, AIChE Fellow and Distinguished Professor and the Jay and Cynthia Ihlenfeld Head of Purdue’s Charles D. Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, championed Purdue's decision to fund one year of AIChE Young Professional membership for the school's entire 2017 class of graduating chemical engineers.

AIChE members like Christine and Sang are truly advancing the objectives of the Doing a World of Good campaign and demonstrating how AIChE Fellows can help ensure the next generation of leaders have the tools they need to succeed.
