Celebrate National Make-a-Will Month by Joining the AIChE Legacy Society

AIChE has an important role to represent the profession and help the young chemical engineers starting their careers. That's why my wife, Rose, and I chose to include AIChE in our estate plan. — John Tao, President of O-Innovation Advisors, LLC

“AIChE has an important role to represent the profession and help the young chemical engineers starting their careers,” said John Tao, President of O-Innovation Advisors, LLC.

“That's why my wife, Rose, and I chose to include AIChE in our estate plan.”

The AIChE Legacy Society is an elite group of donors who are Forever Generous. The group’s philanthropic vision is advancing programs for the future with legacy gifts made today.

Formed in 2007 through the efforts of then-Trustees, Glenn Taylor and Stan Proctor, the AIChE Legacy Society provides our community with an opportunity to include AIChE in their long-term estate plans, ensuring that future generations of chemical engineers will benefit.

Many AIChE members have included a bequest in their wills, and some have named AIChE and its Foundation as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, retirement plan, or charitable remainder trust.

August is National Make-a-Will Month. This annual reminder provides us with an opportunity to consider our legacy at AIChE and support future generations.

If you decide to name AIChE and its Foundation as a beneficiary, we hope you will share the good news with us. If you would like to learn more about how you can sustain your legacy and support the future of chemical engineering, please contact Natalie Krauser at natak@aiche.org.
