CEP assistant news editor Nidhi Sharma sat down with Erin Cech, professor of sociology at the Univ. of Michigan, during the 2019 AIChE Annual Meeting in Orlando to discuss the findings of Prof. Cech’s recent STEM Inclusion Study.
The study examines the experiences of women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) members of AIChE. AIChE participated in the study, which was funded by the NSF.
