AIChE Journal Looks to the Future

In the keen interest of keeping the AIChE Journal aligned with the latest developments in chemical engineering research, the "Futures" issue has invited a group of early-career researchers to contribute their pioneering works. Thirty people are expected to contribute to the 2019 AIChE Journal Futures Issue later this year.

AIChE Journal Editor Mike Harold has sought the input of the Journal’s editorial team and consulting editorial board to identify contributors. In Harold’s words, “The only criterion is that the prospective author be seven or less years removed from her or his initial appointment as an academic, industrial, or national lab researcher. Our intent is to publish the 'Futures' issue annually. In addition, during the publication year, we will have a session at the Annual AIChE meeting where several of the authors will have an opportunity to present their research.”

In the video above and at www.aiche.org/aiche-journal, Editor Mike Harold and six AIChE Journal authors talk about the importance of publishing in the Journal and the value of being featured in the inaugural Futures Issue.
