Wiroon Tanthapanichakoon, P. E. is Vice President and Technology Director of Global R&D Co., Thailand and has past experience with ExxonMobil and SCG Chemicals, Thailand. He has authored international papers and technical articles, and holds several technology patents. He founded a chemical engineering training platform called ChemEngEdu that has trained engineers from more than 100 companies in Thailand since 2016. He obtained his BE and ME degrees in chemical engineering from Kyoto Univ., Japan, and is a licensed professional engineer in Thailand. He was also a member of the Editorial Board for Process Plant Design in 2014–2015.
