William E. (Bill) Schiesser is Emeritus McCann Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Computational Biomedical Engineering, and Mathematics at Lehigh University. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University in 1960 immediately following his Ph.D. at Princeton University. He has won numerous awards for both teaching and research and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Mons in Belgium in 2004. He is the authors of 26 books and monographs and 124 refereed papers.
