Vladimir Diky, PhD, is a research chemist at the Thermodynamics Research Center (TRC) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST, Boulder, CO; Email: vladimir.diky@nist.gov). He received his PhD in chemistry from the Belarusian State Univ. in 1993. He has experience in measuring thermodynamic properties of pure compounds. He was contracted by TRC (then at Texas A&M Univ.) in 1991 and joined TRC as a guest researcher in 2001 and as a staff member in 2010. He is the primary developer of Guided Data Capture (GDC) and ThermoData Engine (TDE) software.
