Stephen Reilly

Consulting Engineer
Prosys, Inc.

NJ-borne, Houston-raised, NJ-refined, Johns Hopkins-educated, Saudi Arabia-tested, and Baton Rouge-seasoned: that’s how Stephen Reilly summarizes his life whenever anyone asks him. During his time at JHU, where he majored in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, he started his involvement with AIChE as a class representative, serving as a chapter VP during his junior year. Although Stephen took a break from AIChE while working for the Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO) in 2010-2011 as a contracted process controls engineer in the city of Jubail, he quickly got involved with AIChE upon moving to Baton Rouge to join ProSys, Inc., a process controls engineering consulting firm, in August 2011. Specializing in fields of alarm management and advanced controls on various distributed control systems, Stephen earned his Professional Engineering license in chemical engineering in Louisiana in April 2015. Since joining the Baton Rouge chapter, he has served as chapter secretary, vice chair, and chair, and he currently remains involved with the local section’s executive council, primarily continuing to build upon the relationship formed between the Baton Rouge and LSU chapters via their annual Young (and Young-at-Heart) Professionals’ Trivia Night and Local Industry Panel events that he founded and serving as the sponsorship committee chair.
