Saber Meamardoost

Saber Meamardoost is a PhD candidate in the Dept. of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Univ. at Buffalo. He works in Natesh Parashurama’s research group and his research focuses on regulatory gene circuits that govern the differentiation of human embryonic stem cells toward definitive endoderm. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Amirkabir Univ. of Technology and his master’s degree in chemical engineering from Sharif Univ. of Technology. During graduate school, he conducted a project on mathematical modeling of momentum, mass, and heat transfer in hollow-fiber membrane reactors for CO2/H2S absorption. He also worked as a research and development engineer in China National Logging Corporation (CNLC) in Ahvaz, Iran. He joined the Univ. at Buffalo as a research assistant in 2015.
