Roberto is currently a Systems Engineer for Corning GmbH. He works on multiscale modelling and experimental characterization of structured adsorbents for carbon capture, from both direct air and point sources. He recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh, under the supervision of Prof. Brandani. His PhD work focused on the modelling of monoliths for gas adsorption, the development of a novel thermodynamic model for both gas and liquid multicomponent adsorption, and the use of thermal frequency response to characterise mass transfer in fast diffusing systems. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Napoli "Federico II" and a MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
