Ketki Behere recently graduated from the PhD program at Chemical Engineering Department in UMass Lowell in May 2017. She had joined Prof. Seongkyu Yoon’s research group in September 2012. Her research focused on chromatography resin performance in continuous biomanufacturing of monoclonal antibodies. She has received the “Outstanding Graduate Research Award” from UMass Lowell. She has Bachelors in Biotechnology Engineering from India. She has worked at Lonza Biologics Hopkinton, MA in Process Development and Lonza Biologics Portsmouth, NH in Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) and is currently working at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMS) in the MS&T.  Ketki worked on Protein A resin lifecycle model in MATLAB environment to evaluate the degradation phenomenon as a part of her thesis work. She has contributed to the roadmap activity of NIST/AmTech project to advance manufacturing in the US. She has worked on developing and analyzing an extensive survey in the area of bioprocessing to obtain the opinions on technical development, workforce development and regulatory issues in biopharmaceuticals. She has been involved in organizing the Biomanufacturing Summit as a part of Biomanufacturing Consortium of Science & Technology (BSTC) for the last four years.
