Enio Kumpinsky is a Principal Consultant at ioMosaic. He has over 30 years of experience in product and process development, scale-up, plant operations and chemical-process safety. Knowledge of technologies includes phenol-formaldehyde resins, acrylate polymers, unsaturated polyester resins, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide polymers, polyether ketones and neoprene rubber. Enio worked at Du Pont for more than seven years and at Ashland Global for more than 28 years before joining ioMosaic.
Process-safety skills include calorimetry, pressure-relief design, emergency-vent sizing, Process Hazards Analysis, Layer of Protection Analysis, Dust Hazards Analysis, Facility Siting and SADT calculations. Laboratory know-how comprises adiabatic calorimetry and heat-flow calorimetry. Experience in pressure-relief design and emergency-vent sizing includes, among others, analytical methods, kinetic modeling of runaway reactions and dynamic simulation of two-phase flow. Enio obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
