Ed Wong

Ed Wong is a Principal Scientist in Pivotal Biologics Drug Substance Development at Amgen Inc. He earned his BS degrees in chemical and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. He has extensive experience in cell culture and purification process development, for both mammalian and microbial expression systems, and protein characterization. At Amgen, he has advanced antibodies, multi-specifics, siRNAs, and vaccines, through various stages of clinical development and commercialization in both early- and late-stage settings. Having a passion for data, he also leads his department data and digital strategy.
