Deanne Dutton Hughes is a Principal with Cardinal Engineering - a civil engineering, environmental engineering, and surveying company based in Oklahoma.  Ms. Hughes is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma and has practiced in the area of air quality for 18 years.  She assists oil and gas clients in the areas of air quality state and federal permitting, compliance, auditing, and greenhouse gas assessments.   Her oil and gas experience includes upstream, midstream, and downstream operations; and she further supports her clients with strategic issues affecting their companies arising from the evolving regulatory
environment. 

Ms. Hughes received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa and her MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.   She serves as Vice Chair for AWMA's Climate Change Technical Council,  Vice Chair for The University of Tulsa Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board,  and with many local and state non-profit organizations.    Ms. Hughes has twice been recognized by the Journal Record as one of Fifty Women Making a Difference in Oklahoma and by Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma with its inaugural Frances Hesselbein Award for leadership.
