Daniel is currently an NIH F32 Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include coupling “-omics” data with high fidelity computational models of cell signaling processes and data science of medical signals. He obtained his PhD in 2017 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute under the supervision of Juergen Hahn and B. Wayne Bequette and his dissertation work focused on biomarker discovery in autism spectrum disorder and detecting infusion set failures in insulin pumps used to treat type 1 diabetes.
